    Aloha Ed,

    TGIF!, RIGHT?

    FAVE FIVE for the older generation that digs modern, nostalgic, popular music, dramas, etc.:

    KIKU TV (Japanese for all)
    KBFD (Korean)
    Channel 80 (Korean)
    Channel 81 (Korean)
    Channel 90 (American Asian Channel)

    Guess it’s obvious that I’m an Asian American, huh?

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  4. Reido:

    Remember, I’m a channel surfer, so my favorites vary. But here’s what I watch on a regular basis.

    1. KHON news at 6:00
    2. Wheel of Fortune
    3. Two and a Half Men

    After that, it’s whatever’s good. Last night, for example, I watched “Are you smarter than a fifth grader” and then the food network for a little bit. On the weekends I try to catch some MMA and other sporting events.

  5. kako mochi:

    happy friday everybody :)

    my top 5 shows would be . . .

    * the hills
    * the office
    * any of those travel shows w/samantha brown (i want her job!!)
    * ugly betty
    * entourage (if it ever starts up again :P)

    i like to watch all kinds of shows actually . . . but these are the ones i can watch over and over . . . o yeah! can’t forget sex and the city, friends, and seinfeld . . . those are the best re-runs to watch anytime!!

  6. Chicken Grease:

    It’s weird. I got movie channels and digital cable, but, the only time I really watch TV is when the fellas are over. That’s pretty much when I have the TV on for a long period of time.

    When I’m by myself (heh), I like to watch:

    1) “Attack of the Show” G4TV. A comic book/movie of the week/tech’/all the news a fanboy needs to know news show with hosts Kevin Perreira and hot-as-hell Olivia Munn.

    2) “Washington Journal” on CSPAN. No TV ads, starts real late, like 1am (I never watch the entire thing). They talk about the day’s issues and they take calls, live calls, and, if you think you’ve heard it all in terms of people hating on politicians, the housing crises, etc., then you must needs watch “Washington Journal.” And the various hosts just sit there and take it. It’s nutty, it’ informative.

    3) Music channels, Classical Masterpieces, Opera, light classical (I’ve mentioned this already).

    K.

  7. HNL2LAS:

    Rachael Ray Show
    Jon and Kate + Eight
    Days of Our Lives
    Food Network-HUH, almost any show on there, but especially Rachael Ray’s multiple shows and Paula Deen
    Samantha Brown on the Travel Channel-totally agree with you Kako Mochi!!! She’s got the LIFE yah??

    Oh almost forgot the LOCAL shows: Hot Hawaiian Nights and Overdrive Live

    Sorry more than 5, hehe whoops!

  8. frankie:

    Battlestar Galactica
    Top Chef

    That’s all I need!

  9. leerah:

    My 3 year old likes to watch: (for real, it’s not me)
    1. Dancing with the Stars
    2. Monday Night Raw (you know, after we’re done watching Jon and Kate + 8)
    3. Ultimate Fighter (for real, she sees a commercial and she’s like “Mommy, can we go to that after Elmo and Lion King?” I think she thinks it’s a stage show.)
    I’d like to add:
    4. Star Gate Atlantis cause Jason Momoa is sooo…. :)
    5. Gene Simmons Family Jewels (did I say that the last time?) He’s so hilarious!

  10. fdog:

    The one show I hate to miss: “Pardon The Interruption” on ESPN. Kornheiser, Wilbon, Oddsmakers, Good Cop-Bad Cop, trampoline bear, and Uranus jokes. What more could you want?

  11. Ed:

    * Reido:

    3. Two and a Half Men

    You know, everyone talks about this one, but I never watched it because I don’t think Sheen is funny at all. It must be pretty decent though so maybe I’ll give it a chance one of these days… :\

    * kako mochi:

    * any of those travel shows w/samantha brown (i want her job!!)

    Oooh, I like her. She seems so fun and friendly and nice. And yeah, she does have a dream job!

    * Chicken Grease:

    It’s weird. I got movie channels and digital cable, but, the only time I really watch TV is when the fellas are over. That’s pretty much when I have the TV on for a long period of time.

    Hehe, yeah, I gots the movie channels too, but hardly watch movies, unless it’s a really funny/classic one! LOL!

    * HNL2LAS:

    Oh almost forgot the LOCAL shows: Hot Hawaiian Nights and Overdrive Live

    I love watching the local bands, but what’s funnier sometimes is watching the drunk people dance for the TV. Hehe!

    * frankie:

    Battlestar Galactica
    Top Chef

    That’s all I need!

    *COUGH*nerd*COUGH* Sorry, did you say something frankie? :P Just kidding!

    * leerah:

    5. Gene Simmons Family Jewels (did I say that the last time?) He’s so hilarious!

    I used to watch that too to see what kinda business ideas he comes up with. Always wiity/unique. Yeah, he’s pretty funny.

    * fdog:

    The one show I hate to miss: “Pardon The Interruption” on ESPN. Kornheiser, Wilbon, Oddsmakers, Good Cop-Bad Cop, trampoline bear, and Uranus jokes. What more could you want?
